Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) is a Eugene non-profit that provides advocacy and support to survivors of sexual violence and their families and friends. They have a 24-hour crisis and support line (541-343-7727 (SASS)) and offer 24-hour advocacy for survivors.

Womenspace is a community non-profit that provides emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis line (541-485-6513), advocacy, and programs for survivors of domestic or dating violence and stalking.

Get Empowered: A Practical Guide to Thrive, Heal, and Embrace Your Confidence in a Sexist World is an excellent new book about how to advocate for yourself and live a safer and fuller life. Written by two long-time ESD teachers, Nadia Telsey (who taught at UO for many years) and Lauren Taylor, it covers much of the same ground as the empowerment section of our UO class. Highly recommended!
